Executive at Coal India Limited for Bread & Butter
Retd. Academician
Specilized in Computer Application in Mining Industry.
I am a retired professor currently serving as a Mining Engineer in Coal India. Previously, under the World Bank-funded TEQIP-III Project, I worked as an Assistant Professor of Mining Engineering at BIT Sindri, Dhanbad.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed expertise in remote sensing, geomatics, advanced surveying techniques, mining technology, computer applications in mining, digital twin & cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
I have a deep passion for physics, algebra, and programming, as these disciplines have historically expanded our ability to model the world, enabling us to make meaningful predictions—an essential foundation for both technological progress and personal evolution.
I supervised undergraduate projects on computer applications in the mining industry, focusing on:
Working as an Executive at Coal India Limited, contributing to the energy sector of India.
Served as faculty, teaching and guiding students in Mining Engineering.
Continued research in "The Mine Automation & Virtual Reality Lab" focusing on IoT in the Mining Industry.
Project: Telemonitoring & Information Technology for Data Resource Management in Mining Industry.
